Jack joined the lab in Fall 2024. He is a junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. He plans on pursuing a Master of Public Health after Pitt. He is interested in learning more about community-based participatory research, specifically its role in suicide prevention at the community level.

Kara joined the lab in the Fall of 2024. She is a senior majoring in psychology and minoring in Spanish. She plans on exploring her options after Pitt to either attend graduate school or work for the government. She is interested in a career surrounding intelligence analysis or clinical psychology. 

Natalie joined the lab in Fall 2024. She is a senior majoring in Biology and Psychology. She plans to attend graduate school after Pitt and is interested in how biopsychosocial factors affect child development. 

Henry joined the lab in Fall of 2024. He is a senior majoring in molecular biology and psychology. He plans on applying to MD/PhD programs after taking a gap year to pursue basic science research. He is interested in exploring the immune system from a molecular level to a macrosocial level. 

Jules joined the lab in Fall 2023. She is a senior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. She plans to attend graduate school after Pitt and is interested in a career in research focusing on health psychology, with a special focus in women’s health.

Samantha joined the lab in Fall 2024. She is a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Italian. Although she plans to attend graduate school, she will be taking a gap year to explore specific areas. She is interested in the mind body connection and how mental illness can impact physiological functioning.

Erin joined the lab in Fall 2022. She is majoring in Biology and Psychology with minors in Spanish and Chemistry. She is interested in learning more about how biopsychosocial factors affect health.

Blayne joined the lab in Fall 2023. She's a junior majoring in Psychology at Pitt. She is interested in learning how psychological and biological factors intersect and affect an individual's health.

Catherine joined the lab in Fall 2023. She is a junior majoring in Psychology with minors in Chemistry and Neuroscience at Pitt. She is interested in learning more about the impact that stress and daily life have on immune health.

Qianru joined the lab in Fall 2023. They are a undergraduate student majoring in Biological Science and Psychology at Pitt. They are interested in learning more about the interconnection between biology, psychology, and socioenvironmental factors, specifically how these aspects impact physical health.

Diti joined the lab in Fall 2023. Diti is a junior majoring in Psychology and Creative Writing with a minor in Chemistry. She is interested in learning about the interconnect between various biopsychosocial factors and how they impact the daily experiences of adults.

Anna was an RA in the lab from Fall 2022-Spring 2024. She graduated in May 2024, majoring in Biology and Psychology and minored in Chemistry at Pitt. She is pursuing the Physician Assistant Studies program.

Roma was an RA in the lab from summer 2021 to spring 2024. She graduated from Georgetown University in May 2024 majoring in biology of global health. She is currently a postbacc researcher at the NIH and will attend medical school next.

Joelle was an RA in the lab Fall 2022- Spring 2024. She graduated in May 2024 with a major in psychology and minor in neuroscience. She is in Bali for a marine biology adventure!

Bianca was an a RA Fall 2023-Spring 2024. She graduated in May 2024, majoring in Psychology and minoring in chemistry. She is pursing her master's degree in Maine.

Allyson was an RA Fall 2023-Spring 2024. She graduated in April 2024, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Hispanic language and culture. She is in graduate school for occupational therapy.

Maegan was a full-time Research Assistant for the SIERA project July 2021 to February 2023. She received her B.S. in psychology with a secondary major in criminology from Florida State University. In Fall 2023, Maegan will pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at UNLV.

Paige was a full-time Research Assistant for the SIERA project September 2021 to May 2022. She is completing her Master’s of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh.

Racheal was a post-bacc RA in the lab from Spring 2022 to Fall 2022. She is currently working on her Master’s in Anatomy and Physiology.

Shay was a research assistant in the lab from Spring 2022 to Fall 2022. In Fall 2023, she is beginning a PsyD program in Chicago at National Louis University (tied to the Illinois School of Professional Psychology).

Aleks was an undergrad RA in the lab from Fall 2022 to Spring 2023. She graduated in May 2023 with a Psychology major and certificate in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine. She is currently working in medical sales for Johnson & Johnson in Portland, OR.

Nathan was an undergrad RA in the lab from Fall 2021 to Spring 2023. He graduated with a double major in psychology and biology, with a minor in Chemistry.

Nidhi was an undergraduate RA in the lab from Fall 2021 to Spring 2023. She graduated in 2023 with a major in biology and minors in chemistry and sociology. She is currently a postbacc fellow in the NIH Postbac IRTA program.

Emma was an undergrad RA in the lab from Fall 2021 to Spring 2023. She graduated with a major in Psychology and minor in Gender & Women’s Studies in May 2023.

Allison was an undergrad RA in the lab from Spring 2022 to Spring 2023. She graduated Pitt in May 2023 and is working as a Research Specialist in the Psychiatry and Neuroscience Laboratory (PyNeL) as a Research Specialist

Ana was a post-bacc RA in the lab for Fall 2022 to Spring 2023. She graduated Pitt with a degree in Psychology and will be pursuing medical school in the future.

Alexandra was a research assistant in the lab Spring 2022 to Fall 2022. She is currently working at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Alexis was an undergraduate RA in the lab from Fall 2020 to Summer 2022. She is completing her Master’s in Social Work at Simmons University in Boston.

Hannah was an undergraduate RA in the lab from Spring 2021 to Fall 2022. She is completing her Master’s in Public Health at Pitt.

Allison was an undergraduate RA in the lab from Fall 2021 to Summer 2022 and is working as an Emergency Department Critical Care Technician and volunteering for a crisis hotline.

Kate was an undergraduate RA in the lab from Summer 2021 to Spring 2022. Currently, she is a research assistant at Cambridge Health Alliance in Boston researching risk factors for mental illness in youth.

Kellen was an undergraduate RA in the lab from Summer 2021 to Spring 2022. He is working towards his BS in Math-Economics with a minor in Statistics at Pitt.

Emily was an undergraduate RA in the lab from Fall 2021 to Spring 2022. She is currently a research technician at Charles River Laboratories.

Sydni was an undergraduate RA in the lab from Fall 2021 to Spring 2022. She is currently a social media curator for Qnary and a publishing assistant for Freckled Media.

Luke was an undergraduate RA in the lab from Fall 2021 to Spring 2022. Currently, he’s in the medical device industry.

Cate was an undergraduate RA in the lab from Spring 2021 to Summer 2021. She is currently an RA in the Center for Adolescent Reward, Rhythms, and Sleep at Pitt.
